Tusker Surplus Metals, now commonly named Tusker Metals, was officially established in May of 2012. The company is owned and operated by Peter and Kelly Thorpe. Peter, born in Zimbabwe was the youngest of three children. His stories of growing up in Africa are captivating and mesmerizing. He immigrated to the United States in 1979 after a stint of exploration in Europe. In 1980 he began working in the metal industry, working for some the top players in the industry. Kelly Nicholl Thorpe was born and raised Santa Monica and moved to Temecula in 2006 (what she calls the “countryside”) to get a fresh start with her new husband. Kelly has worked her way up the ranks of the industry and together they have established themselves as serious players, with a proven track-record and their combined 45 years of experience; Kelly will not tell you how long she has contributed to this number. Their knowledge, expertise and forward-thinking strategies have turned their vision into reality.
Tusker Surplus Metals, which is conveniently located on the 15 freeway, commonly known as the 15 corridor, services the Inland Empire. We have positioned ourselves centrally to be easily reachable from Temecula, Wildomar, Murrieta, French Valley, Anza, Winchester, Fallbrook, Canyon Lake, Sun City, Hemet, Perris.
